Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to information that may qualify as “consumer health data” under applicable state law, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar laws.

• General disability, condition-duration, treatment, and ability-to-work responses.
• Information suggesting that a consumer is seeking SSDI-related professional services.
• Inferences drawn from qualification responses about potential service relevance.
• Communications that a consumer voluntarily includes about a condition, treatment, diagnosis, or disability.

3. Sources

We collect consumer health data directly from consumers through qualification and contact forms, and in limited cases from a person legally authorized to submit information for another individual. We may also receive status or routing information from participating providers.

4. Purposes

We use consumer health data to provide the requested qualification experience, evaluate whether an inquiry may be appropriate for possible connection, respond to the consumer, maintain consent and compliance records, prevent fraud, and improve the service.

5. Sharing

Consumer health data may be shared with participating independent SSDI professionals, attorneys, advocates, authorized representatives, and service providers that support secure processing, communications, compliance, or routing. 6. Consumer Rights

Depending on applicable law, consumers may have rights to confirm whether consumer health data is collected or shared, access it, withdraw consent, request deletion, and appeal a denial. Submit a request through the Contact page. We may verify identity and authority.

We will seek affirmative consent where required before collecting, using, or sharing consumer health data for a purpose that is not necessary to provide the consumer-requested service or that is materially different from the purposes disclosed here.

8. Sale of Consumer Health Data

BenefitRoute SSDI does not intend to sell consumer health data without the separate, valid authorization required by applicable law. If business practices change, this Notice and the consent experience must be updated before such activity occurs.

9. Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards and retain consumer health data only as reasonably necessary for disclosed purposes, compliance, consent evidence, security, disputes, and legal obligations. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We will update this Notice before collecting or using additional categories of consumer health data or using existing data for materially different purposes where notice or consent is required.
