This page explains how eligible consumers may submit an opt-out request.
Your Opt-Out Choices
California residents and consumers in other states with similar rights may request that BenefitRoute SSDI stop the sale or sharing of personal information, as those terms are defined by applicable law. We will also process requests to opt out of targeted advertising where applicable.
How to Submit a Request
- Visit the Contact page.
- Select a privacy request or clearly write “Do Not Sell or Share” in the message.
- Provide the name, email address, and telephone number previously submitted so we can locate relevant records.
- Do not include a Social Security number, government ID, financial information, or medical records.
Global Privacy Control
Where required by applicable law, a recognized Global Privacy Control signal will be treated as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending the signal. Additional verification may be needed to associate the signal with information held outside that browser or device.
Authorized Agents
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted. We may require proof of authorization and may ask the consumer to verify identity directly.
What an Opt-Out Does Not Stop
An opt-out does not prevent disclosures to service providers or contractors for operational purposes, disclosures you direct, security and fraud-prevention activity, or other disclosures that applicable law does not treat as sale or sharing.
Non-Discrimination
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
