California Privacy Notice

This notice provides additional information for California residents.
1. Applicability
This California Privacy Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to California residents to the extent BenefitRoute SSDI is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). Certain information, entities, or activities may be exempt from some CCPA requirements.
2. Categories of Personal Information
- Identifiers: name, email, telephone number, IP address, submission or lead identifiers.
- Customer records: contact details and information submitted through forms.
- Protected classification or disability-related information: information voluntarily provided in qualification responses where applicable.
- Commercial and interaction information: inquiry, partner connection, consent, suppression, and communication records.
- Internet or electronic activity: browser, device, referring page, website interactions, cookies, and analytics.
- Geolocation: general location inferred from IP address or ZIP Code; the website does not request precise GPS location.
- Sensitive personal information: account credentials if introduced in the future, precise geolocation if enabled, and health or disability-related information where treated as sensitive under applicable law.
- Inferences: initial qualification or service-interest inferences drawn from submitted information.
3. Sources
We collect information directly from consumers, automatically from browsers and devices, from service providers, from marketing sources that direct a consumer to the website, and from participating professionals or partners where permitted.
4. Business and Commercial Purposes
Information may be used to provide and improve the website, process inquiries, maintain security, prevent fraud, communicate with consumers, document consent, facilitate potential professional connections, perform analytics, comply with law, and conduct marketing consistent with consumer choices.
5. Disclosure, Sale, and Sharing
We may disclose categories of information to service providers, contractors, participating professionals, marketing partners, analytics providers, and advertising technology providers. Depending on how a relationship or technology is configured, some disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA even when no money is exchanged.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. Eligible California residents may opt out through the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Where legally required, we will also honor a recognized Global Privacy Control signal.

- Right to know categories of sources, purposes, and third parties.
- Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing.
- Right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
7. Exercising Rights
Submit a request through the Contact page and select a privacy-related inquiry. Describe the right you want to exercise. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, residency, and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to verification.
8. Retention
Retention varies based on the purpose of collection, consent documentation, legal requirements, security, disputes, partner obligations, and operational need. We do not intend to retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for disclosed purposes.
9. Notice of Financial Incentives
BenefitRoute SSDI does not currently offer a financial incentive or price difference in exchange for personal information. If this changes, a separate notice will be provided before enrollment.
